Default High Idle at startup - When hot

The warmer my engine gets, the higher it idles at startup.
It will go up to about 2000-2500 rpm and very slowly make its way down to 1000-1200 rpm. The warmer the engines gets, the longer it stays at high idle. What could be the problem?

I'm at the point of giving up on this blazer. Was so fine when I got it, but now theres nothing but problems

Maybe, but only maybe I fixed this problem today! I got rid of some old "made in china" spark plugs and spark plug wires. That the previous owner had installed.
I installed some excellent ACdelco plugs and wires. Had it on a little test run to get it nice and hot, and to now the problem has not come back. May be a coincidence, but I don't think so. The problem has been there and has not gone away at any time the last week.
