99 Blazer 4x4 Whining and Clicking under Pass Seat HELP Tranny or Torque?
My 99 Chevy Blazer started to make a metal on metal clicking noise with a whining tranny sound about a month ago. Clicking noise...under passenger seat area. Still shifts ok, no loss of power, fluid ok and red, torque converter? whole tranny? Cat Converter? Has brand new engine 4 years ago. Axle problem? ARGHHHH I need some help. The Y pipe comes together under the passenger seat. Possible exaugst leak where it bolts up to the cat.
Also on the whining...Are you sure its the tranny and not the power steering?
