how to work 4x4 button
 

can someone tell me the proper way to operate my push button 4x4 on my 96 blazer.
what does the buttons flashing mean, how to tell its on etc. etc.

For 4wd high, just push 4hi, the light will flash to state the command has been received, then when it engages it will stay lit. For 4lo you must be going less than 5 mph and in N then push the button, it will flash and then stay lit when engaged. That is how my 2000 works. Now if the button flashes then another comes on then what was selected then you have a fault in the system, or the conditions to put the truck in 4wd are not met. Korey

thanks man ive noticed when i try to put it in 4 lo that the 4 lo button flashes while the 4 hi turns on and stays lit and i dont know why

Well if the conditions are not met to put the truck in 4lo ( trans in N and speed under 5mph) It will not go into 4lo. Although it will try, but it will not go into gear. Korey.
