How do I find the choke on a 86 chevy blazer fuel injected

RE: idle. problem

So I can assume that your OTHER PROBLEM is fixed and it is now not idling properly?

Anyway, there is no choke in the conventional sense. There were two different types of early fuel evaporation (EFE) systems used. So you have either a heating element located under the throttle body to heat the incoming air charge or there is a vacuum actuated valve in the exhaust pipe just after the exhaust manifold. The valve in the exhaust pipe is controlled by a vacuum solenoid.

RE: idle. problem

Probably have a vacuum leak. A rather large vacuum leak from the sounds of it.. The throttlebody base gasket is known to leak on these motors. Did you install a new one?
