my 2000 blaser v6 4.3, idles at 2000 to 2500 rpm, i replaced the tps, but it didnt help. any suggestions?

 

Why did you replace the TPS sensor?

Have you made sure that the throttle blade is not being hung open somehow? Traced all of the vacuum lines looking for leaks? Checked/cleaned the IAC valve?

 

the code reader told me to replace it, and im still trying to locate the iac valve, and how do you check for leaks, if anybody could hook me up with pictures thatd be greatly appreciated, and i did check the throttle plate, its fine

 

Please don't take this the wrong way but...the search feature really does work. Have a look at the search link in my sig for ideas on how to refine your searches. A search for "iac+location" will turn up some pretty good threads!
