Default Issues with trans install

Ok so I got trans almost lined up I got one bolt in the houseing to the block. I've got one floor jack on a cart. (So I can move it around easier with the right surface, was the idea... Didn't turn out....) Also I have a bottle jack and a scissor jack to help transmission. But I can't get a good angle. Tried as many different ways I can think of but no luck. Any suggestions? I'm on the ground with jack stands holding truck up. pics to follow

The transmission is wanting to twist everytime I get close. The two bottom corners of the bell housing wouldn't mate so I went to bolt one up top

Raise the back of engine up. Block of wood on oil pan and jack under it.

Did that and was able to get trans mated to block getting ready to double check what I have done and start putting bolts in bell housing in.
