Default little rough

my 95 LT blazer has a very annoying rough idle issue. when stoped, it's very jittery going up and down in RPM's, and it idle's bad. any ideas?

HA...Several.

When was last tune-up? Plugs,Wires, Dist. Cap.
Cleaned EGR?
Cleaned TBI?

We've had lots of posts about rough idling. Have you read them to see some of the ideas and solutions?

Vacuum leaks? Dirty/stuck IAC valve on the throttle body?

thanks, only the sparks :\

i have the cap, just havn't did it yet.

will be getting wires.


and replacing EGR.

cleaned tbi? what is tbi, no the smartest here.

I think he meant TB (throttle body) since you have a CPI motor.

don't mean to sound stupid, but how would i go about cleaning my throttle body?

With some sensor safe carbon cleaner and a brush. The TB is not removable on the CPI motor.

UPDATE: during yesterday driving, it got worse. when i was stopping and i got around 10mph/lower. if i stopped braking, and braked again they would get stiff as if the car was off and i was just pumping, it got to the point where i couldn't even push my pedal! but it seemed to relieve pressure when i gave it gas. also while accelerated, it seemed as it was going to die, get around 1500RPM's and it's bog for a sec and then speed up.
