Lose of fuel milage
 

Well after getting about 250 to the take last year I've just noticed that the truck has been doing about 200 now. Hmm sounds like something is clogged right? Maybe it's time to do the spark plugs too. How in the world can I get to the spark plugs? I don't have a 6 foot extention to reach. Do I have to take off the front wheels to do it? My engine is getting ready to hit 150,000 miles.

Try the SEARCH, I haven't done the plugs on one of these before, but IIRC for the #3 plug you need 2+ft of extensions and a swivel head to git er done. I don't see why you can't get the rest just bent over the engine bay.

No the wheels dont need to come off, it is easier to go through the wheel well on the drivers side, the pass. side can be done from the top. If you cannot get the center plug on the drivers side with your tools, you can take the steering shaft loose then it is real easy. If the tune-up has not been done in a while, then cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel and air filters, and a pvc will be in order. The filters SHOULD not be over looked!! I have seen air filters take a vehicle down 8mpg before. Korey.
