It takes a few times to get the gears engaged once it happens. Sometimes i have to use 4 wheel drive to get it off the road

Keep in mind, this vehicle has a 6" suspension lift and sits on 35" tires. I've shimmed the tear axle to compensate for the driveshaft pitch

well pressure on the shift points should be good - something in the transfer case or the rear differential is freewheeling

Thank you for your help. I'll have a look at the differential. I've also swapoed out the transfer case when the first tranny did this

I'll beat my head on this some more- post back with any thing you find
edit - check the linkage on the transfer case for wear or miss adjustment to see if it is shifting solid into 2WD |
