Hello I just picked up a 96 blazer 4wd with 189k today and on the way home I noticed that the car did not like going above 3k rpms, the car has a p0134 code (bank 1 sensor 1) and a small evap leak code. I put the pedal to the floor and the car shifted which makes me believe its not a transmission issue. I am extremely new to the 4.3 platform so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

Monitor your scanner fom a cold start in the morning and tell me if the behavior is any different when it warms up and transitions from open loop to closed loop fuel control. If it transitions.

What are your 4 fuel trim numbers
