RE: MPG's
I would go with the ACDelco platnium plugs if you are going to rechange you spark plugs, they have a 100,000 mile warranty on them and are what came stock and seem to be the prefered plug for our trucks.

Hey Kyle, have you ever heard about that fuel additive 'Ethos'?

might be worth giving it a shot. I heard about this product being used in oil companies formulas to meet California emissions standards.

I think that would be worth the money to try to see if it really works!!!

RE: MPG's
Give it a try... Let us know. I'll just say I am skeptical. This is the first I have ever heard of this product, but there have been many other products that claim the same thing and have been proven to not work as advertised. Awhile ago I had found a government site (I think it was EPA) that did testing on many of these supposed "fuel savers". Can't find any reference to it now, but it listed their results when testing each one of them.

Maybe I should try Shell out one of these days...

Try the shell gas
P.S. if you get thier credit card you get 5% rebate on all gas purchases. So if the gas is $3/gallon you are really only paying 2.85/gallon. The cool thing is you do not have to apply for the rebate, it automatically gets deducted from your next month's bill as a credit. The catch though is you have to pay the bill off monthly or your will negate the benefit of the 5% off, but hey any little bit helps!

Im going to try that ethos stuff...
Ill fill my tank wih out it, then with it, put on my tach and go at it...
I drive the same route everyday school - home - work so driving wont be an issue
Ill use the same gas station, 1 tank with ethos and 1 without!
Ill let you all know the results.

RE: Try the shell gas
thanks for voulanteering Zasder! I would do it as well, Im just a little low on fundage right now. Make sure you read the directions, as I believe when you add it to your tank of gas, you are supposed to initially add 3-5o.z. to your oil as well one time only. Keep us updated.
