oil blow by
 

Heres my problem i have a 94 blazer 4.3 cpi and it is blowing oil by the valve cover bolts, now i know its probly as simple as bad o-rings around the bolts but, just to have some input... now i think the pcv is working properly it just seems there is alot of pressure in the valve area.

I would check to make sure that the PVC port on the TBI is not pluged. I had an issue with high oil pressure readings and getting blow by out the dip stick tube if it was not seated. Also the PVC Valve would pop out of the valve cover. Even though the PVC Valve was working correctly it had no where to vent since the PVC TBI Port was plugged. I rebuilt the TBI including cleaning all the carbon out of the ports and oil pressure returned to normal. Maybe yours is not plugged but partialy restricted due to carbon build up.

Thanks for the info, I have a cpi and I have cleaned the egr passage and have replaced the pcv valve and I can feel it suck when I put my finger over it. So I'm guessing it is just bad o-rings.
