oil filter housing

Ok i've searched for this stuff and cant seem to find an answer. Ive got a 87 4x4 with the 2.8. I just recently changed the oil in the thing. Apparently the owner who i just got the truck from hadn't changed it in a while. The filter was stuck on housing. So in the process of me taking the dang thing off i bent the oil filter housing and now its leaking from where it meets the block. Any info on how to get this thing off. Thanks for the help

ok you have to lift the engine up and its only one bolt. comes right off. thanks everybody

Thanks for the follow up. I just could not remember the setup on my old S10 2.8L I had.
