Default Loud "blowing" noise..

I'm pretty sure i know what it is, but figured i'd get some inpt. It's not real loud at idle but when i'm on the gas under the hood sounds like an industrial fan is blowing. Also, when i pop the hood i can feel a ton of air. Could this be the clutch for the fan? maybe stuck? Just wanted to get some input before getting the part.

Definitely sounds like your fan clutch has locked up.

Sounds like your fan clutch. Be aware that when you go to the parts store they will probably ask you what gear ratio you have in your rear axle.

It is not that difficult. Having the proper tools makes it a piece of cake, but you can use a large adjustable wrench and a hammer to pop it loose. Just leave the belt on and possibly have a friend at the ready to hold more tension to the belt.
