oil pressure fluctuating and engine knocking
 

i have a 2007 trailblazer my oil pressure gauge started fluctuating and the engine is making a knocking sound need advise before calling mechanic

You may have lost a bearing, if so rebuild or engine swap time - But that being said have you checked oil level?

I've noticed some engine produce a small knocking sound when there isn't enough oil...

Dumd question, did you check you oil level?

If the knock is pretty loud and oil pressure is fluctuating it's not good. My 2000 did that and it was time for rebuild. Main and rod bearings were shot along with the crankshaft.

Sounds like time for an LS swap!

Lol... seems like that'll be the answer for me soon... I just dont wanna deal with the ghost misfire no more lol
