Oil Seals
 

So lately I've had the "pleasure" of tearing down my dads '89 S15 Gypsy and taking care of years of neglect & abuse. One of the biggest challenges I'm encountering is the oil line seals. Being as the truck is a 4x4, its got the stupid remote oil filter. I took that assembly to a shop for new flex hoses. While there the tech separated the lines and then told me the oil seals could be re-used. I'm just not comfortable with that explanation, considering the seals are 25 years old and seen 500k miles.
So what I need to know is the specs for these seals, maybe part #'s, a source to buy and general info like that.
