Overheating Problem

Hi, i have my first problem with my blazer !

yesterday after a few accelerations I noticed the car started to overheat abnormally and lose some coolant, the heater has also stopped heating. the levels are good, the oil has not moved, the fan is running. i think the water pump is dead what's your opinion? thank you very much !!

You're sure your radiator is full? When water pumps fail they leak, they don't stop working unless they cease up, then your belt would get torn up. I'd check coolant level first, run it for a while and see if the top radiator hose gets hot and change the thermostat if it doesn't.

the level of the jar is good but I do not see the liquid in the radiator itself 🤔 so ok I will first purge everything and redo the radiator levels by checking if the pipes are heating properly.

afterwards I have the impression that it is leaking under the pump precisely but the belt running good..

And otherwise did you have a picture of the thermostat location ? I don’t locate it on this engine

thanks a lot 🙏🏼

the level of the jar is good but I admit that I do not see the level in the radiator, I will put some back in and check the level of the upper hoses as well. the belt is ok but the air leak from under the water pump ... there are marks under the big lower hose too. otherwise would you have a picture of the thermostat? I'm having trouble locating it on this engine. thank you very much 🙏🏼
