Overheating problem
 

I have a 2000 chevy blazer LT and it overheats while im driving but when i idle it will stop where its at. It might go down a little but thats it. Now ive done replaced water pump and thermostat. And flushed the system out. Theres no signs of a head gasket blown. Oh and i have changed the clutch fan as well. What else could make the blazer run hot slowly?

I had the same problem this week. I did the same replacements and it still overheated. Have you taken the radiator out and looked for any signs of damage? Or clogged on the radiator? I had a crack in mine, which caused the persistent overheating. Had I not taken the time to pull the radiator out, I would have never seen that crack. Good luck and keep us posted!

Was the radiator leaking or just have a crack without a leak?

dont know if this would happen with a clutch fan but make sure the fan is blowing towards the engine. on another forum someone was having the same issue with a electric fan, was fine idling or going slow but hit the road and it would overheat. the fan was actually blowing the wrong way

how woulf i know if it was put on backwards?
