Unhappy desperate question!!

I was driving around in Georgia's little heat wave were having and after a while of driving the truck starts sounding strange, like a loud strange. it had me freaking out, so i parked in the parking lot and nothings leaking, the gauges looked normal, so i start walking into target and i hear another truck sounding all loud and it was another blazer. his windows were up so i couldn't flag him down. is the loud sound just the AC kicking up a level or something else? i noticed 2 other chevy SUVS sounding similar but i just want to know without a shadow of a doubt that im in the clear.

If the noise is constant after it begins then the clutch on the fan is probably bad and needs replacing.

Or the A/C clutch heating up in the very hot climate. That could cause the belt & other bearings as well to act up.
