P1886: new solenoids, good grounds, good volt @ fuse, help!
1996 blazer 4wd 4.3
I replaced the solenoids, checked all the grounds and wiring @ the harness, had the right voltage @ the tranny fuse (good ignition switch) and the code is still back! Anyone have any idea whats going on? Where else can I look? |
Well, here's a guy had the same problem..
Trans OBD II Code P1886 Trouble. - Car Forums and Automotive Chat My guess, if it's not wiring, and it seems to shift fine manually it's probably in the valve body. Did you recently have a fluid change? |

It does shift fine through all the gears manually. |
Hello!
95 was PWM .99 Case Diameter 10-15 Ohm 96 was On/Off .89 Case Diameter 20-31 Ohm Check resistance on Trans.connector between Pin E and S ( 20-31 Ohm or a bit more for a weak internal harness...) Check Pin N (Range A) to Gnd = Open ore 250k up Pin P (Range B) to Gnd = 5 Ohm.. Pin R (Range C) to Gnd = Open mfg Martin |
