Default ? proper way to remove 4L60-E

Hi everyone,
Please excuse my bad English and I hope understand me.
How can remove 1999 Chevy Blazer LT, 4L60E Transmission (4X4). My mechanic
wait 3 weeks help from other technician but... Please HELP me with video, pictures which help him. Blazer have 1,2,R and not 3,D. (I read somewhere that the problem is probably 'forward sprag'). Bad to be in Sofia (Bulgaria) and to keep a car that is not German.

Тhanks in advance.

If he is a mechanic taking out a transmission on an American vehicle isn't any different than any other vehicle. When I worked as a mechanic I pulled many Jaguar, Fiat, VW, BMW, transmissions to name a few. Find a real mechanic.

Basically you're right, but always a first time for some things. He is my friend and together we chose this car. So far the problem is not resolved.

PS
I found something useful here:
http://www.wwdsltd.com/4L60/4L60ERemoval.html
...'On a Blazer/Jimmy there is precious little room to remove it due to the center cross member, so it will have to be twisted and tilted to clear the cross member on the way out.'..

PS
Problem 1 is solved. My mechanic is a beast
Down are gearbox together with the transfer case.
Next problem is .....
I waiting proposals for quality parts include shipping to BG.

yeah getting that transfercase out of there sucks. you just have to kinda pry it back and drop it down it sucks but i get them out everytime off of the transmission. american cars are pretty simple and self explanatory. y ou just start taking off stuff til it comes out

i just did a trans in a 2000 f150 2wd on monday and now in the process of doing one on a 93 e150 ford van. i have them transmissions out in like 1hr. wish they still made cars and trucks this simple

Would you share experiences and opinions on this kit:
GM 4L60E Transmission Rebuild kit 97-03 Power Pack
Still do not know what is broken, but trying to find parts for repair.
I am also an option for the entire transmission, but delivery is very expensive.
I do not think about the duties and taxes

Last question.
Which is the correct part?
I found the site of ACDelco:
Part Number: 24240575 or Part Number: 24241477
(VIN 1GNDT13W7XK147579
Vehicle: 1999 CHEVROLET BLAZER LT 4x4 V6 4.3L)

Thanks

24240575 is the new part number - it replaces part number 24241477. It might be a stronger casting or new bearings or nothing - hard to know what is different. 'New' numbers for parts on American vehicles is pretty common.

Got my info by picking through the google junk and finding this:
ACDelco 24241477 ~ Sprag F

Both should fit/work see what you can get your hands on

4L60E Removal

Not Blazer specific but the entire guide covers everything from start to finish including rebuilding.
