im haveing a h%ll of a time getting this engine and tranny out.... I have the front grill and fenders off .. im trying to take the engine and tranny and transfer case out all in one shot but i keep hitting the oil pan on the front diff .... is this not possible do i have to take the transfer case of then the tranny then the engine striaght up and out ? Thanks for all your help in advance

i don't think you going to have a easy time to do it but you will have to drop your front running gear to bring the engine and tranny out in one swap should be two bolts underneath and the bolts on both on top of your front spring housing's
yeah i was thinking that also .... would it be easier to take the tranny and tc out first ... this is how im going to have to do it on the good blazer that this engine is going in im thinking
yes that process will be much more easy and less bruise knuckles and holes in walls lol
well i went out there and thought ... i dont wana fuk around so i took the six body mount bolts off and started jacking away at the cherry picker haha .... i dont sugest doing it this way unless ur scrapping the truck but hell it worked LMAO

Pulling the engine
Factory says to lift the front of the body, even to pull just the engine. I think it will come out as a complete unit if the third member is dropped (it has to come out to remove the tranny/transfer case anyway. The challenge is the firewall/front axle clearance. I think getting the balance right for the complete assembly will be difficult, too much weight to the rear of the bellhousing.
