Ran before replacing parts, now wont start.

2001 Chevy Blazer LS

This past weekend we fixed a coolant leak around the intake manifold, replaced lower intake manifold, oil pressure switch (since it snapped) manifold gaskets, replaced serpentine belt, after putting it all back together tried to start it, wouldn't start, so we thought maybe it knocked out of time a little, the distributor got moved. Come to find out the battery was near dead so we put in a new battery.

We have spark, we have fuel.

Try to turn it over it makes a couple small rumbles like it wants to fire then it just cranks.

We thought maybe there was a code to reset for security purposes from disconnecting the battery, but only code we find is for the radio.

We really need to get this fixed.. Anybody?

Sounds to me like you fellas got yourselves a timing issue. i would set the engine to TDC and remove the dist. cap to set/make sure the plug in line abov the rotor is the first plug in the firing order. as long as it is close it doesnt have to be perfect the comp will do the fine tuning. hope this helps
