recall on EGR valve.
 

iv read on alldata there was a recall on the EGR valves used on certain vehicles. I dont remember the exact words but i wrote down the part number 17113405. is that the fault egr or the one it should be replaced with?

Since I did not see the original info, I wouldn't know. You'll probably need to find the notice again to know for sure.

I doubt that there was an actual safety recall on an EGR valve. Probably was a TSB. You can have your dealer run the VIN to see if you have any outstanding safety recalls.
