Im having trouble installing my rotor back into my engine it's a 1995 blazer Vin w i marked it with paint before i took it out and now when i go to drop it in how it was it will only drop in way ahead of my marks i tried wiggling it and shakeing it any idea's ?

Sounds like you are one tooth off with the distributor. The oil pump drive shaft is likely hanging you up because it is not in the proper position. It is going to be fun...

yea thats what i was thinking is there a way to move the oil pump drive to line it up better so it'll fix in there its to far back to be able to look down into the hole so i cant see any thing

Get a mirror and a long, slender screw driver. You need good lighting as well.

wow,,,im glad i looked at this post.
doesnt sound to good when ur having problems
just putting a rotor in.

If you were just changing the rotor, this would not happen. But I believe the OP stated rotor when actually speaking of the distributor.
