S10 Stalls when cold

I have a 1998 S10 with the 2.2 . Just recently its started running rough and almost stalls till it reaches operating temperature . After it warms up if runs fine . I seen where it might be the coolant sensor . Any help is appreciated . Thanks

I currently have the same issue with an '89 S15. Had a complete tune up including a new distributor, new fuel filter, injectors, etc were cleaned, new fuel pump relay. The fuel pressure is good at 10 PSI. It does run better, but still rough and sometimes dies when put in reverse after a cold start. Did you find out what your problem was?

Yes i got bad gas . Several in my area having the same issue . The gas station is going to make it good . Taking to my mechanic. Just one big pain in the butt.

Almost sounds like it might not be running on all cylinders - did your tuneup include new plugs and wires? Are all the wires seated/connected properly on the plugs? Are they decent quality?

Yes, all new plugs and wires. When that didn't fix the problem, they replaced the distributor. It's running a bit better but still not fixed. I'm working with another shop and they are going to re-check the plugs/wires. I talked to them yesterday after having it there last week..they replaced the fuel pump relay but that didn't fix problem. They think it also might be throttle body related. It also pukes out when you step on the gas.
