seiged spark plug
Thanks for the reply about the tranny mount have'nt tried it yet but I will tomorrow. ok! I was doing a rotine tune up Changing spark plugs on my 93 S-10 Blazer and the plug on the right closest to the cab is stuck I am using heavy duty silcone and I warmed up the engine to operating temp it moved a little but will not come out.:confused:

You are using heavy duty silicone on what? There is a such thing as heavy duty silicone? What makes it heavy duty?
As far as the siezed plug... Let the engine cool down and then get a six point 5/8" spark plug socket on it. Use a long rachet and put some oomph behind it in a counter clockwise direction. Worst case scenario has you pulling the head. |
I would spray PB Blaster penetrating lube around the plug and let it sit awhile (maybe even overnight) and try again. Be sure to use anti-seize lube on the plug threads when you install them.
