Shifting Problems

I have an '02 Blazer. My torque converter went bad, so I dropped out the trans and replaced it. While I had the trans pan off I went ahead and replaced the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoids. After working the fluid back in to the trans and putting everything all back together, I an still having some trouble. I can go in reverse, 1st, and 2nd. I can force it into 3rd if I double clutch it, but, as you can imagine, it isn't happy to be there. I if it helpful, I have gotten the codes pulled. I have an issue in the evaporative cooling system. I need to replace the heater core, possibly the 02 sensor, and maybe the crankshaft positioning sensor. Also I am misfiring on an unknown number of cylinders. I could be wrong, but, most of that is relatively easy and shouldn't effect the shifting problem. Any ideas?
