Some transmission codes that came up
I have a 96 Jimmy 4x4. I just got the truck last night. The check engine light was on but everything seemed fine when I test drove it at least transmission wise. 4x4 works perfect. I noticed a tiny slip on the way home after I bought it, but wasn't bad. Anyways I went to autozone and had them hook up their scanner and 4 transmission does popped up.
p1860 TCC PWM solenoid electrical fault
p1864 TCC enable solenoid electrical fault
p1870 Transmission component slipping
p1886 3-2 shift solenoid valve assembly circuit
I was reading up on this site in the obd2 code diagnoses part and other sites and haven't really gotten the answers I needed. I'm sure some of these codes bunch together and could be the same problem setting off different codes. I saw how this problem has to do with the valve body..well the 1860 and 1870 codes. Maybe because I haven't driven the truck enough since I've bought it since I just drove it home (about a 45 minute drive) and then to autozone and it seemed fine for the most part. So how would I go about fixing this. Could it possibly be the converter itself? So basically what I'm asking is what are the first things I should do to try to fix this problem. I really don't want to take it to a dealership or large transmission shop because of the prices. I know a small amount about transmissions and have friends that are ASE certified in them and know more than I do, but I'm not sure on them. I found this http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/me...t_Code=T74165E... it says and I read that it fixes the 1870 code most of the time. Should that be my first thing to try. also should I do the most simple things and check the wires going to the transmission to see if they are in good shape. So if anyone could help I really need it. thanks

I'm looking for the solution to code P1864 myself. I have a 96 blazer 4x4. Everything appears to be fine then the next stop light it shifts hard from first to second. Next light it may be good shift and maybe not. If I find more I'll post it here.
