My 96 s10 blazer ( 4.3l ) has started sputtering. this is intermitent. it happenes between 1500 and 2200 rpm's. sometimes its really bad somemore times it's only minor. it's sounds like there is water in the gas but i have put gasline antifreeze in the tank to no avil. i cleaned the mass air flow sensor cleaned the egr valve and replaced the gas filter. the air filter is new and there is new platium plugs installed. the sputter is not there if i rev it up in part, only when it's in gear and i'm accerating. the last owner said there was a new fuel pump and dist cap installed. any help appreciated. excuse the spelling, i drive better that i spell.

my machine got the stock exhaust, so thats not my problem. but i did have the gas filler pipe replaced before this started. if i get chance tomorrow i'm gonna pull the plugs out and replaced them with some ac-delco or champion, the previos owner said he put platium plugs in it but i think i will check for myself. and maybe pull the dist cap and check that also. but the forcast is callinf for rain and i hate getting wet without getting paid for it.

found some bad vacum hoses. the one from the black ball under the hood was collasped. only had a small amount of hose laying around. gonna pick some more up this weekend and replace all hoses on engine.

vacuum will do it, especially under load.
