Starter intermitent
 

My problem is that when I go to start, my starter will engage and spin for about one second and then dissengage but still spin. Usually the engine will turn over the second or third try. There are some times when I have to turn the ignition a few times to get the starter gear to engage but the starter itself spins every time. (95 Blazer 4x4 4dr)
Any ideas?

replace the starter.
