Starter replacement, any tips to make it less painful?

So my starter died on me recently, I took it out once before to find out it was working properly when I had another issue causing a starting problem. It was NOT fun! But anyway, this time its broken. Are there any tips or tricks to make this repair go a little smoother and faster? Thanks!

put the truck on car ramps. Try to loosen the wires from the wheel well too but disconnect the battery before doing so. also there might be a bracket on the frame that holds the harness Remove that bolt to gain a little slack in the harness when you bring it down.

you only have to disconnect the negative side of the battery. that way you dont lose your presets or settings in the radio. i have changed them in a 2wd in 26 mins from start to finish. i prefer jack stands to ramps, but ramps are safer if you have access to them. i always have done the two bolts that hold the starter and then lower the starter and remove the wires then. thats just me. look out for crap falling your face while you are working under there and remember, if you start to get mad, just walk away for a few minutes.
