Post starting problems.

Little bit of info first
1998 chevy blazer 4 door 4.3 liter vortec v6. all stock except for some audio stuff. and replaced gaskets
when i first try and start the truck in the morning after its had a chance to cool 100% the very first try it never cranks, like its getting no fuel. whether i let the fuel pump sit and prime or not.
heres where it gets kinda weird. it will sometimes crank on the second try but only if i turn the key immediately and not let the fuel pump run. if i let it run it will not crank. usually the second try and on it gets some gas but not enough for a full crank it will fire a couple times and quit. on about the 4th to 6th try it will crank and run fine. but if at any time i try and let the fuel pump just run it acts as if its not getting gas at all.
another little thing is that when the car is hot it has no problem cranking at all. and when its still cold, when i accelerate from a stand still it nearly dies like its not getting gas but then picks up. and this quits shortly after its gotten warm. Im thinking it might be dirty/clogged fuel injectors so ive tried seafoam and it did not make any difference. I also though possibly the fuel lines but there is no lack of acceleration or power once the car has warmed up. once its warm it performs at 100%.
starter does its job and the battery is always good but somethings is not getting enough of something and i need some help. any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
