Sudden loss in oil pressure and squeal

Need Help!
I have spent over $2,000 on my 1998 Chevy Blazer, in the past year, it has 160,000 miles. I neeeed desperatly to know whats up with it this time, it is my daily driver.

Driving down the interstate with cruise control set at 75mph, I had a sudden drop in oil pressure and could not accelerate. Pulled over cut the car off, tryed to crank it again it hesitated majorly, but crunk up slowly, with the check engine light now on, and a squeal...no smoke at all, just a squeal, so i shut it off tried it again, and same thin, crunk up slowly with a loud squeal. Called a tow truck. Could this be my oil pump, or have I blown the engine?

Hope for the best. You obviously need someone to look closely at it. Best case would be the belt tore loose due to some driven bearing failure and ripped off the oil cooler lines.
However if you recently had intake gaskets replaced and had coolant in your oil.. probably bad news.

Doesn't sound good... Is the oil pressure still low? Metal in the oil? It might be new motor time.
