Default Temp seems high

In around 90°, my temp is about right at the 210 Mark or son in traffic. My ac only really works when im driving for a bit, the minute i sit in traffic or idle with ac, it jumps to 215-220. What could be the issue?

Generally, high temps only at low speeds are caused by airflow issues (bad fan clutch or shroud, radiator blockage, etc.). Have somebody turn off the hot engine while you watch the fan blades. They should stop spinning almost immediately. If they keep spinning after the engine stops, you probably have a bad fan clutch. Also, check to make sure the radiator fins aren't clogged with mud, bugs, leaves, etc.

Well took Tom's advice...radiator was filthy..dust, leaves, plants, bugs, and mud. After about 40 mims of trying to vacuum, brush , clean radiator without bending fins. Going for a drive..we will see!

A/C could also be low on refrigerant. Then it looses capability to cool. When was the last time it got checked? Might just need a refill.

I got an aluminum radiator from a place that Christine suggested (Engineered Cooling Products - Aluminum Radiators) that's been fantastic. They also have them with built-in electric fans if it's in your budget. That would be the way to go, IMO, if you want to buy once and cry once.
