Default Too much transmission fluid

I put too much transmission fluid in and now it is vibrating really bad. Do I mess the transmission up?

How long have you driven it since you put in the fluid? remove one of the cooler lines and start the truck up and drain some out. Warning,it'll shoot out like a cannon so it doesnt take long, easier with a hose, and a 2nd helper.

yeah, i would disconnect the top tranny cooler line going into the radiator and attach a hose to it with a bucket and have a helper drain some out.
but do be careful...it will come out fast.

OR a cleaner & less Chris & John way is get some small diameter tubing, like for a fish tank. Stick it in the trans check stick tube & suck a bit up. Put your thumb over the end of the tube & draw it out, cloth the end that was in the trans. Put it over a bucket & remove your thumb to drain it out.

Check the fluid level as per manual & keep going to get the right level.

Was I a rude person to chris & john?.... nahhhh all is good... wtg on the clean engines btw!! lol
I've done it too so stfu lol

A clean engine bay is a sign of someone who doesnt go mudding lol

Or another way is to loosen the bolts on the transmission pan a couple turns then CAREFULLY pry on one corner till you break the seal and some will drain out. But if your not careful it can be a big mess so i recommend the hose down the check pipe idea, its just slow.
