Looking for a TC replacement and wanted to know the difference between 1650rpm and 2200rm stall speed. What benefit if any.

First of all we need to know more info about your vehicle, what year is it, is it a 4X4 etc. I am not sure where the 4.3 makes most of its torque at, but I would say its between 1600-2200 rpm or so, if someone knows feel free to correct me. You do not want your stall to be higher than the rpm of the torque curve, so if it makes its torque at 2200 rpm you want to be under that say 1800 or 2000 rpm stall if its to high it will slip all the time and burn up.
You could do whats called a foot brake stall, but most times you will overpower the brake system to hold your vehicle still before you get to your stall rpm (the max rpm you get before your vehicle starts to move)
