Unless you have done engine work that would benefit from a higher stall converter, I would stick with the stock stall speed. There are aftermarket converters out there that can provide longer life, but you'll want to get your gears changed to at a minimum 4.10's or you'll find yourself in the same predicament again. 3.73 gears with 36's isn't a good combination for your transmission.

i have 4.10s just checked i will be adding a cam that is good for stock converters ive read that some people run irocs or vettes converters is that a good choice

Unless you will be altering the RPM at which peak torque occurs drastically, a stock stall converter would still likely be best. Being a lifted truck with large tires, you'll want to select the cam properly so it still maintains its torque at lower RPMs to get the truck moving.
