Tranny Acts Up when Cold

The circuit that supplies power (pink wire) tests out okay. I connected a meter to the power wire going to the tranny solenoids and it shows 14.88v with the engine running and the SES light on. When I reset the code 0758 the light goes out and the voltage falls to 12.44v. I hear a faintwhirring noise when the light is on and it stops when I reset the code.

Now don't you guys lose any more sleep over this problem. I fixed it today, myself. Cost $25.00

Hey Sparky I have a similar intermitant problem with my 99. What did you fix for $25? I havn't been able to find anyone who can fix the problem or even isolate it.Your fix could save a lot ofussome time and money.

Hey Wrench, I changed out the A&B shift solenoids in the tranny. Just drop the pan and these are the 2 little square ones in the back, sitting side by side. They have a spring wire clip holding them in place.
