Unhappy Tranny issues

i have looked through the fourm and i found a few threads connected to this issue but not any connected to my exact problem, i just replaced all the solenoids in my transmission and now im getting these 3 codes p0785 p01860 p0758 and it keeps blowing that 10 amp fuse in my fuse box i for get which one its called and my trans feels likes its stuck in 3rd gear.
any help would be really helpful.

Sounds like you damaged the wiring in the pan sometime during the replacement of the solenoids and/or installation of the pan and the pink wires are grounding out inside the pan.

thats kinda what i was thinking i had some trouble keeping some of the wires tucked in the pan when i was puting it up so im thinkning i possibly caught one inbetween the pan gona pull the pan off again today will keep u updated. thanks swartlkk

ok so im gona try replacing the wire harness and see if that fixes my problem. and by the way would anybody know how to disconnect the harness here at the transmission?

There are 3 prongs that need to be pushed in from the top side. It will then be removed from the inside(you might need to remove that solenoid to get it out). I have only removed one with the transmission out of the vehicle.

ok thanks ya i had to remove that solenoid to get it but now im just waiting on my new harness. I have another question if my harness was shorting out (just humor me) would it still short out with just turning the key on or does the vehicale have to be running???

With the key in the OFF, RUN, or START position, you should have +12V to pin E (pink wire) at the harness connector provided the CLSTR fuse is good.


If the fuse still blows with the transmission harness disconnected, then you have a high draw on one of the other items on the CLSTR fuse. The CLSTR fuse powers the IGN B circuit of the PCM as well as the gauge cluster. If you do not have power to the CLSTR fuse in OFF, RUN, & START positions, then the ignition switch contacts for that circuit (IGN 0) are defective.
