tranny seems to disengage in OD

got this problem with 2001 blazer 4wd. today i was on the highway and over the course of 100 kms the tranny seemed to cut out for half a second about 4 times. it's the wierdest thing, the truck hesitated and then it was fine. it was cold today (-23) but this happened when the truck had warmed up. didn't happen when starting from a stop sign only in top gear. any ideas?

Did it feel like it wad down shifting and upshifting? It could cylinoids or valve body issues.

it didn't feel like it was shifting at all. it just cut out for half a second. does valve body or solenoids mean dropping the transmission? thanks for your help.

Nope just drop the pan and you can get to them.
