I have a 1998 Blazer LS 4x4 4.3l V6Auto and would like to know if a transmission pan from a 700R4 fit the 4L60E. Also having trouble with the rear hatch not locking-not the rear window but the lift hatch will not lock when I power lock.

As far as the tran pan I don't think they will swap over and work!! The rear not locking when you power lock it might be something with a fuse so I would check the fuses first to see if there is if not then it is possible a wire came loose!!!

I did a google and some say that it should. Is there a separate fuse for the rear hatch-the door locks work-just the rear hatch is not working.

There might be a seperate fuse for it but then the wires could not be making contact to it so I would check the wiring in the rear there that goes to it!!

Does the hatch lock work manually? If you were to use your key to lock the rear hatch, will it lock or no? If not, I'd say you've got a bad lock cylinder. If it does, that kinda points to an electrical issue

When I put the key in the rear hatch-will only lock/unlock the four doors. Will not lock the rear hatch. I bought this Blazer this winter cause I needed something inexpensive to tow a trailer from MD to AZ. And since it was cold and snowing did not get a chance to look over the vehicle. But it have several problems which i'm trying to repair. Get pretty decent gas mileage 20-24 HWy/15-18 City. 4x4 has stopped working-will not go into 4Hi-will go into 4Lo(but both 4Hi and 4Lo are on) I hear the tccm click and the transfer case clunk.

Nats1956 do you live in AZ?? Well aside from that it sounds like you should check the wire loom that runs out of the hatch for pinched wires or loose wires!!!
