#1
- I have an 02 blazer R/H drive model . It will not shift into 4wheel drive ! sometimes if i hold down the 4 wheel auto button in the morning. Before i turn the key and start it and keep the button held down. It will shift some times than i can not shift back to 2wd . I have changed the transfer box oil . I had sent from the states have checked oils in diffs gearbox . Vacume lines and been to the HOLDEN / GM dealers in australia . And they have no ideas i dont get any trouble codes on the code reader . Any help would be great . It has cost me thousands in freight to get parts shiped to australia from the states
and you can not get blazer parts in australia Thanks Tom

It sounds like you have a problem with the tcase actuator if you have already checked the vacuum lines and vac switch on the TCase. The tcase actuator may not be an easy part to get down under. It is actually a motor, gearbox and encoder all in one assembly. I took some detailed vids when I rebuilt my actuator. The only difference with yours is that there will be an encoder of some sort inside the housing. The encoder/motor assembly for the tcase is on the side near the front drive shaft output spline. You have to take the front driveshaft off to remove the encoder/motor module. I will get my $hit together and edit the video and post a YT link in a day or so.
