Transfer case oil seal part number needed
 
Hi. The output shaft oil seal on the transfer case (where the prop shaft/drive shaft comes out) is leaking. Does anyone know the part number for the seal? Vehicle is a 1999 Blazer LT 4.3l. Local importer (I am in the UK) wants $53 for one!

On parts that were never built by GM seals are not hard to find here in the States but for some going to a local GM dealer is the way to go here.

When with the GM rear main seal because of higher quality than FelPro and this morning had to pick up the rear transmission seal at the dealership parts department and is was the same as the OEM seal pulled.

After market seals sometimes are not the quality of OEM.

Hey in the UK are there a lot of Blazers on the road. Here the S10 line has a high population in part because they keep running. :)

No, very few. I have had my beastie for over 2 years and have only seen one other! This is good and bad. Good in that I am not driving something everyone else is but bad because of the lack of spares. To that end I bought a damaged LT as my private spares store :-)
