transmission dipstick tube leak! help!

i just finished intatalling a new engine in my 95 blazer, and when i fired it up i noticed a little transmission leak, so i crawlde under the truck and saw that it was leaking from wher the base of the dipstick tube goes into the trans. did i miss a seal or somthing when i installed it?the tube wiggles back and forth in the hole where it goes in the tranny. do i just need to push it in more? help!

Should be a O ring on the tube

yep. has a oring.
