Default Transmission help

so the other day my 2001 blazer threw codes for both shift soleniods so I replaced them and it seems to be better but it runs high rpms in third gear still.

Have you been through enough drive cycles for any new codes to set yet?

I drove it around for at least 30 minutes after replacing the solenoids

What code numbers did you get? Will it shift past third into fourth?

I don’t remember the codes now. But no it won’t shift from third to fourth

Just strange to show both solenoids at once. What was it doing before solenoid replacement? What condition was the fluid when you dropped the pan?

I couldn’t feel it shift into anything it was running high rpms

It sounds as if it is limp mode. Third gear. Check the fuse. Does the indicator on the dash light up to tell you what gear you are in?

no I don’t think it does. I’ll check that fuse

fuse for limp mode isn’t blown.
