Default Transmission issues?

I have a 98 4wd blazer that has been running like crap lately. Starts up fine, but when accelerating from a stop, she seems to rumble and shake a bit. Eventually she smooths out and at about 65 mph, the rpm needle goes a little sporadic and doesnt seem to want to go past 65 with out the rumbling and jerking starting up again. At about 65 mph it starts running rough and you can feel the jerking start until you press the gas pedal harder and it eventually stops. Ive recently done plugs and wires, checked all fluids and everything seems in check. does this sounds like a bad ignition coil? or am i losing my transmission?

misfire would be ignition or fuel related. not transmission. could be dist cap/rotor, could be spider injector.. i would start with a cap/rotor first since they are much cheaper to replace than the spider injector.
