Transmission problems after fluid change

hello all! is a 01 chevy blazer LT 4.3L Vortec V6 when I remove the A/T pan to change the filter n gasket the pan stuck in the cross member and I broke one shift solenoid because was hard to pull it down. So anyways put new one on it and when i try to put the filter don't fit with gasket, the trany look like it has one from the other filter so i try to take out but when I rip off the plastic if look like the gasket or "O RING" came with the trany if so I scrub up my trany because the filter is loose now and the other O RING don't fit on it.
So after I put the new filter n gasket put the pan back n fill with fluid start the blazer for test n revers is to slow to engage n the truck driving and "D" is to slow when the transmissions gear star changing the rpm jump from 1500 to 3000 and it pulls and 2, 3 gear, before was running at 65 or 70 m/h at 2000 rpm and now is running at 3000 rpm. So what is my problem the filter because don't had the O RING and is no tie, or the shift solenoid A and B are different??? please somebody help me!!!:icon_doh:

Are you getting a trouble code? Its more than likely a solenoid. They are different and I was told to replace both at the same time. There is a 1-2 solenoid and a 3-4 solenoid, but I think both are the same part just in different locations. I'm not at all an expert with the trans, I prefer to just seal it up and leave it be. However I am having the same problem, but not after a fluid change.

Earlier this week I got a P0753 code, basically a faulty shift solenoid A.. She still runs, just super high RPM on the interstate, and off the interstate its basically stuck in 3rd gear. Even if I pull it manually down into low. So I'm changing both solenoids while doing a fluid and filter change this weekend. Probably going to put in an entire bottle of lucas oil stop slip with the new fluid too. I'll see how it goes.

she is running good now! I had to remove the pan again to make sure i plug the solenoid n i fount the filter was in the bottom of the pan because the seal was bad n the filter not was sealing right so after take the old seal off n put the new one she is running good.
So my problem was because I don't change the old filter seal... but thank for you input n you help..
