Trying to bring a neglected Blazer back to life.

Hi all!

Well, first off, I'm new here, so hello to everyone! Just picked up a 2000 2 door 4x4 Blazer from a friend of mine that's been sitting for 4+ years. 160k miles. This isn't my first rodeo with a vehicle that's been sitting for a long time, but it is my first Blazer, so any vehicle specific info (especially if you've had one that's been parked for awhile) would be greatly appreciated.

Here's what I know it needs:

LIM gaskets (why it was parked to begin with)
Radiator (was leaking)
Full tuneup (Cap, rotor, wires, plugs)
Tires and Battery
Every fluid changed.

Good news is it got a full set of ball joints, passenger CV shaft and brakes before it was parked.

I'm particularly worried about the transmission, as those usually don't take well to sitting, but I did look through a couple threads on rebuilding it, and I can definitely tackle that if needed (although I'd like to drive it some first). Simple fluid and filter change and see how it goes maybe?

Anyway, thanks in advance for the help, look forward to learning some more while I'm here!

My 97 sat for 2 years and once i finally got the LIM gaskets done they also did the EGR Line and the Valve cover gaskets. I get it back and the fuel tank is bad so it's back in the shop. Probably going to need fuel lines and tires.
