Vacuum line from trans???

I purchased a 1998 ZR2 Blazer a week ago and still doing the front to back clean and check. One thing has me stumped and I can't find the answer anywhere. There is a vacuum line hanging down attached to the top of the trans/transfer case. I can see where it appears like trans. fluid is leaking out as I drive but not parked. I also had to put over a quart of trans fluid in. It is a recently rebuilt transmission so I don't want to do any damage. I found a couple references to a vent cap I think or something but I can't see a vacuum line just left hanging on a 1998 vehicle. Can anyone help me to know how to cap it or where it might go. I also have the error codes P0453 and P0452 but I don't think they have anything to do with this line. I have researched them and after replacing the gas cap I think it's the solenoid on the tank.

it's prob your vent line for the xfer case - if so it needs to be routed up as high as you can get it in the engine compartment - for the disappearing trans fluid look at the post in this section named transfer case still leaking - I would quote my reply here also but kinnda lost on how and i'm too lazy to type it all again
